Mitochondrial disase = Miasms ... and Canine Distemper?

Mitochondrial mutations and defects are what we calll "miasms" in homeopathy. They are inherited. "First, mitochondrial diseases aren't contagious, and they aren't caused by anything a person does. They're caused by mutations, or changes, in genes — the cells' blueprints for making proteins." from this cool site. I want everyone to remember this so that the ill-treatment of street animals as soon as their suffering shows up stops. You can't "just get it" from a street dog, so reach out to help, not stone it!

Ancient had what's called encephalomyopathy or mitochondrial encephalomyopathy, lactic acidosis and strokelike episodes (MELAS). And he had  progressive external ophthalmoplegia (PEO).

Ah, the irony of it all ... to find out the day after he dies! Anyway, I can at least try to save the rest of the dogs that have so many of these symptoms this winter.
  1. This is distemper.
  2. The twitching and spasms left behind are MELAS.
  3. This is the chronic skin disease we see in street dogs.
  4.  This is the cause of the cataracts that develop prematurely in so many street dogs (NARP)
This site covers the range of mitochondrial diseases beautifully - I'll just be copying it to clarify how I'll use homeopathy to deal with the variety.
